Founded in 1946, the Texas Association of Builders is an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders and has 26 local associations and nearly 10,000 builder, remodeler, developer and associate members across the state. Representing over 758,000 jobs and more than $71.5 billion annually in the Texas economy, the state and local associations play a crucial role in providing housing for Texans.

Star Awards
Established in 1992, the Star Awards is the only statewide tribute to excellence in the homebuilding industry, showcasing the outstanding work of builders, remodelers, architects, designers, sales and marketing professionals, and industry leaders in Texas in more than 150 categories. A distinguished panel of industry experts from across the nation comes to Austin for an intense two-day judging period where they review hundreds of entries. Category winners and Grand Award winners are announced at an event held in conjunction with the yearly Sunbelt Builders Showâ„¢.

The Sunbelt Builders Showâ„¢ is one of the largest building industry events in North America drawing thousands of residential construction industry professionals from the United States, Canada and Mexico to more than 200 exhibit booths.
